Busy with a customer? That's exactly when the phone rings.

Every missed call is a booking that goes to someone else. Here's how a typical day looks for a busy salon.

  1. New booking by phoneCut and colour on Thursday at 9am, before the salon opened
  2. Moved by text"Can I come Friday instead?" Moved, with a fresh confirmation
  3. Question answered"Do I need a patch test?" Answered from your own notes
  4. Reminders sentFourteen clients reminded about tomorrow's appointments
  5. Booked after hoursBalayage on Saturday at 10am, while the salon was closed

From first ring to a confirmed booking, without you lifting a finger.

  1. A customer calls or texts

Sophie, your AI receptionist, answers in your business's name, day or night, and from the button on your website.

  2. She checks your real diary

Only times that are genuinely free are offered. Two customers can never be booked into the same slot.

  3. The booking lands in your calendar

Google Calendar updates straight away, and the customer gets a text with the time and their booking reference.

  4. Reminders and changes look after themselves

Reminders go out before the visit. Customers confirm, move or cancel by text, and a review request follows afterwards.

Your whole front desk on one screen.

See every booking, call and conversation as it happens. Approve what goes out, follow up on what comes in, and know exactly how your week is filling up.

Questions owners ask us

What happens if Sophie can't help a caller?

She takes their name and number and tells them your team will call back. Medical, billing and complaint questions always go to you.

Does it work with my calendar?

Yes. Every booking, change and cancellation is written to your Google Calendar automatically. Time off is added in SimplyBooked, so it is never offered to customers.

Do my customers need an app?

No. Everything happens by phone call, the button on your website, or text message.

Can a customer change someone else's booking?

No. Changes are only accepted from the phone number the booking was made with, or after the caller confirms the name or reference on the booking.

Can I try it before customers see it?

Yes. You start in test mode, with texts going only to your own numbers, and switch to live when you're ready.

Let the phone ring. It's handled.
